DUMFRIES AND GALLOWAY
A series of shop fronts and tales from a three day visit to Dumfries and the surrounding area.
I took the 6A early from Dumfries to Caerlaverock. It doesn't run often. There was a man on it, Jimmy, everyone knew him. I was dropped off at the driveway to the castle.
Caerlaverock is beautiful. The fort during my visit was occupied by Pigeons. Look up and you'll see them flying back and forth in the spaces between the walls.
